Nine-year-old Lily finds an injured squirrel in her backyard and takes him in, nursing him back to health. She names him Nutella and quickly becomes attached to him, but her mom says he has to go. Lily releases Nutella back into the wild, and visits him every day to bring him nuts and berries. Even though she can't keep him as a pet, Lily knows that Nutella will always be a special part of her life.
