Here’s another marine scene in the style of the marine artist Ivan Aivazovsky, note that the girl watching the sailboat is dressed according to the epoch Aivazovsky often painted (scenes from 18th and 19th centuries). I love many things about this artwork: it can be improved in either direction by using variations we discussed earlier: for example you can emphasize the details of the sailboat, or render the sea, but I rather like it being almost impressionist.
